Support Colorado Flood Relief
I can't express how proud I am for the accomplishments of my wife and her high school classmate who co-founded the Great Colorado Flood Relief Project to raise funds for the victims of the floods. Please join me in helping our friends and neighbors through this organization.
Today, we find ourselves in an extremely difficult position. Our city is faced with rebuilding from the greatest natural disaster in our city's history.
This election is critical because the leadership of our city will help determine the course for Longmont that will impact the lives of our citizens for generations to come.
When I took office in 2009, the city was embroiled in lawsuits and primary employers were threatening to leave town. By the end of my two-year term, I had settled seven lawsuits and negotiated terms beneficial to both the city and the company to keep two major employers in Longmont.
As I look at the current state of the city, I find that our city is once again embroiled in lawsuits and major employers have given notice that they are leaving. I have a demonstrated history of success under these circumstances.
It is time to elect a leader that has a proven record of fiscal responsibility. A leader who has a proven record of settling lawsuits and retaining businesses.
I am that leader, and I ask that you vote for me by Nov 5, to represent you once again as your Mayor.
